Still Cleaning Up

So today I did set out 2 garbage cans, and 7 recycling bins. My garage is now looking better, just in time to mess it up with another load of junk to go out.  Today I spent my time here messing with the blog instead of doing a ton of cleaning, though I did get through 2 loads of laundry and a load of dishes.  Before bed I want to get through 2 bins of odds and end toys.

This is such a slow process, but then again it did take 11 years for the clutter to accumulate so it is going to take time to get rid of it all.

A Fresh Look

So today I have started to change the look of my blog here.  I’m still in the main planning stages, and with my whole other list of things to do it will probably be some time till I get it 100% completely the way I like it.  But I think I have the basic look the way I want it, the sidebar is my next area to massage.  Then comes the fun of putting the graphics in.

Still Overwhelmed But a Bit Better

Well today I did accomplish a few things off my list, and so far I have not added anything else.
But there is still so much darn cleaning, tomorrow for trash day I am sending out 7 bins of recycling, my 1 big garbage can and 1 more regular can- and it doesn’t seem like I’ve made a dent. But next week I will have more stickers and will be able to put out 5 extra garbage cans, so the plan is to get the garage taken care of- though since it is also a staging area I will not stay completely clutter free for too long.  But at least that stuff is destined to either the garbage, recycling or the curb in the hopes that someone will think that my junk is their treasure.

Tonight I do plan on taking some of those quizzes, I know that I am procrastinating but  I so do not like tests and quizzes.

Overwhelmed

Right now I am so overwhelmed, so much going on, to much to do, a to do list 2 miles long.
Right now I am just trying to take things one step at a time to just cross something off this list.
But for everything I do, I add 2 to 3 more things to my list…………….
Eventually it will all get done
I just hope that it will  be soon

Here I sit, it’s the end of July, my summer class is almost over- way to easy but it needed to be taken to earn my Web Design Certificate. Due to personal commitments the kids have spent the majority of the summer so far at my parents house. Due to this Matt has missed out on his Summer Swim teams, thankfully he’s not to mad at me and is ready to get back in the pool when the Short Course season starts up again in September. This week I will get him back into his Summer Cross Country camp, so he will be able to re-connect with some of his friends from school.

We are also working hard on getting the house ready to be put on the market, for the most part this means getting rid of tons of junk, lots of painting and getting some new flooring along with a few other minor repairs.

Emmy had her first swim lessons earlier this summer, the kind where she went into the pool on her own. Well she did great and had lots of fun. So I plan on getting her signed up to take some more lessons in September, hopefully at the same time Matt is at Swim Team practice.
