Braces….

Today Matt finally got his braces on.

Here is a better picture of Matt, but since he took the other one himself I figured that I would share it.

He picked red and black for his bands since they are his school colors- I was hoping for one of the glow in the dark colors but those will probably come later.  Tonight he is finally showing the signs that his mouth is buging him, and tomorrow I figured I would take the kids to see Night at the Museum 2 to take his mind off his mouth.

I also purchased a domanin name, and some hosting space.  Check out M n Em Web Design, its way to basic right now but eventually it will be my web site.  You have to start somewhere.

Today I squealed like a little girl

On the drive to take Matt to another swim practice. I saw a sign foretelling what a building we have been watching emerge from an empty field.

5 years ago I squealed for the same reason, when they built a

right on the way to those early morning practices.  Let me tell you with a newborn in the house and having to get a 9 year old Matt to swim practice I sure stopped off there more than I should have.

Now for some this might not be a big deal, but around here the first one opened up several months about 20 min from my house.  Now we have been seeing the commercials from Sonic on TV for years, and with none close by all we could do was drool at the commercials.  But once that one was built and we went there, we realized that we did like their stuff.  Now I do wish it was a bit cheaper, but that is only so we could go there more. But to have one even closer yes that makes me happy.  Now we can pop over for desert, and if I can get my kids to order off the $1 menu maybe even more for  some real food. Needless to say I am happy tonight

I sure didn’t let the lawn get so long, that today when I finally mowed the front and side

I went over this unsuspecting patch of Earth

Also in no way shape or form would I let my teenage sons room get like this…

Can we say that there is a lot of clean up to happen this week.

Plus there is a storm coming tonight

And I worry over these 2 furry babies

I so want to pick them up and bring them inside to protect them.  But the cats might have a different idea and scare the bunnies to death.  Plus their mamma definitely would not like that- though where is there mama, I hope she is getting them some food.
